Maternity
Capture the beauty of your pregnancy
A Maternity Photoshoot is one of the most powerful ways to feel connected with your changing body during pregnancy. But maternity photography can easily be overlooked. You’re busy getting ready for the arrival of your little bundle of joy, experiencing all of the highs and lows of growing a human, and it’s often a time when you may be feeling tired and uncomfortable. If you’re not feeling your best self, being in front of the camera is the last thing you want to do, right?
Well, it doesn’t have to be that way. My maternity sessions have two main aims; to empower you to feel like the beautiful, radiant woman that you are, and provide you with gorgeous, timeless memories to look back on. Bodies go through such incredible changes during pregnancy and capturing this special time is just as important for expectant mums as the newborn sessions and beyond.

The beginning of your journey together
My job as a maternity photographer is to capture the magic of your pregnancy in a natural, relaxed way. I absolutely love making every mum-to-be feel like a goddess in front of the camera. Seeing client reactions to my photos is priceless; that moment of realisation that you look powerful, feminine and glowing with the miracle of life blossoming inside you. It can truly be an epiphany, and a turning point in how you feel about your body.
And it’s not just that: having professional maternity photos taken also marks the first page in your baby’s life story. As they grow up, they will become curious about the time when they lived in Mummy’s tummy. Treat yourself and them to a collection of beautiful photos that you can look back on proudly, and they can look at in wonder.
Maternity sessions take place on location in South West London and Surrey, making the most of Mother Nature’s stunning backdrops.

Testimonials
Maddie is an incredibly talented and personable photographer, providing affordable photography to families in and around Surrey. We had such a fantastic maternity session with her that we immediately booked a newborn session for when our baby was due and on both occasions we were overwhelmed with the results. I’ve recommended her to multiple people already that are expecting or have young children and can’t wait for them to have the same amazing experience I did!

I had a maternity shoot with Maddie and it was such a wonderful experience from the initial enquiry right through to the end and receiving my amazing photos! I couldn’t thank her enough for making me feel so comfortable and for capturing such an incredibly special time for me.
Thank you Maddie - you’re so personable and passionate about what you do, it really made it such a special experience :)

Any questions?
When should I book a maternity photoshoot?
You can book your maternity shoot anytime from your 20-week scan, and the shoot will take place between 34-38 weeks (the photos look best when your bump has really popped!)
Please be sure to book in plenty of time so that I can accommodate you and arrange the shoot at your preferred location. I have a limited number of weekend slots so if you’d like a Saturday or Sunday then I always advise getting it booked as soon as possible.
How do I book a maternity photoshoot?
To book a maternity photoshoot with me, simply fill out the contact form with a few details and I’ll get back to you within 2 working days to get the ball rolling!
What do I wear to a maternity photoshoot?
Choosing an outfit is probably the last thing you want to worry about in the late stages of your pregnancy, but don’t worry - I’ve got you covered! I have a range of luxury maternity outfits (sizes 8-20), all available to be viewed online at the link I’ll send to you once you’re booked in. Alternatively, you can of course bring your own outfit, and I have a styling guide I can send to help you select the perfect dress for your bump.
What do I need to bring to my maternity photoshoot?
Just yourself! After all, you are the star of the show. I do also recommend bringing a scan photo if you have one, as we can create some amazing detail shots that make great keepsake images.
How long does the session last and where is it held?
Your maternity photoshoot will last around 45 minutes and can be held in your preferred location in SW London or Surrey. All of the locations I use have been carefully chosen to provide a stunning backdrop to your magical images. I know all the quiet spots, so you can rest assured that your session will be peaceful and private.
How many photos will I get from the session?
You will receive between 50-70 images to choose from in your online viewing gallery. I try to give you as many as possible from the session, so that you can pick your favourites.
How long does it take to receive the gallery?
I edit all of your images myself to ensure your final images are pixel perfect. It usually takes between 7-10 days for your final edits to be ready and uploaded to your private digital gallery, but in busier seasons it can take up to 14 days.
